The much anticipated and maiden edition of the Regional Company of the Year (RCOY) activating disruptors competition was held at NIIT, Owerri on July 5th, 2019. Seven secondary schools in Owerri contested for the coveted FIRST spot and the chance to represent IMO State for the first time in Lagos at the nationals. Quite frankly, It was a keenly contested competition with Alvana Model Secondary School marginally emerging victorious. Lighthouse Startrite high school, who also bagged the award for the best company’s  CSR, came second and Government Technical College (GTC) came third. There were 3 major criteria the judges looked out for: Company’s report, Presentation and Product. It was truly an eye-opening and wonderful experience for the students, mentors and teachers that were involved. They appreciated ANGUZ Partners for the this fantastic opportunity and hoped for more of this in the future.
